You Hand over the Manuscript,
We Begin Copyediting
After signing the publishing agreement, our editors take over the reins. Remember, their loyalty lies with the readers before anyone else, so suggestions are made accordingly. We typically carry out two rounds of copyediting.
Copyediting can happen in three ways—basic (a grammar and spelling check), deep (evolving and improving the storytelling), and structural (diving into everything—plot, theme, characters, etc.).
Get StartedYou Approve the Edits, We Begin the Layout
Good layout and typesetting are underrated skills that can help your book shine. Whether textual, illustrated, or coffee table, each book requires a unique approach to make it easy on the eyes while juggling margins, fonts, pullouts, footnotes, orphans, widows... the list goes on!

You Approve the Layout,
We Begin the Proofreading
Humans or machines, no matter how good, are still prone to errors. That's why one thorough final check is needed to ensure all the text and layout are in order. There are no backsies after this!
In Parallel, We Work on the Cover Design and Front and Back Matter
Let's be honest: Books are judged by their covers, and blurbs and reviews matter. That's why we choose to invest time, attention, and care in each. Book covers are designed differently for hardbacks and paperbacks, and may have flaps, endpapers, etc.

Finally, We Plan the Sales and Marketing
After the book is allotted an ISBN and goes for print, our marketers take over. They help you with online listings, offline distribution (where possible), launch events, marketing campaigns, lit fest submissions, PR, and everything else. Publishing was only half the battle, this is the other half!
